CHFR workshop on cardiac signaling, 2016

Center for Heart Failure Research invites clinicians and basic researchers with an interest in cardiac signaling to participate at our workshop: "Interactions and cross-talk between cardiac signaling pathways".

The invited lecture with the title "Modulating cAMP signaling by targeting the scaffold function of PI3Kgamma" will be given by Professor Emilio Hirsch from Department of Molecular Biotechnology and Health Sciences, University of Torino, Italy. His research area has been focused on signal transduction mechanisms in inflammation, cancer and cardiac function. He is known for making the first PI3K knock-out mice and demonstrated PI3K gamma as a potential drug target in inflammation and cardiovascular dysfunction.

Several ongoing projects will be presented by PhD students and postdocs and all projects discussed in plenum.

The meeting takes place Monday December 5th 2016, 11.30-16.30, Rikshospitalet B: Grønt Aud 1.

The registration deadline is 23:00 o'clock November 30th 2016
